The Lady with the sweet smile; Beautiful Peace

among the masters
or versaillies regal beaute’
or a walk on the beach
at monaco.

ride a gondola in venice
a picnic in tuscany
mass in st. peters
take a tour of old roma
a cruise to see
the pyramids under
watchful eye of the sphinx
then the golden mosque
in constantinople.

A World Gone Mad: Love and Peace
Somewhere in my travels I came across a bit of wisdom ” Without Love, there can not be Peace. Without Peace there can not be Love. And without Love and Peace there can not be joy.” So Love is the key to, well, everything! From the personal, to being the key to all of humanity! A world without love, is “a world gone mad!”
Love is beyond man’s understanding. for centuries poets and writers have tried to define it, as have scientists and coming up with as many answers as there were/are poets, writers, scientists. In other words is still a mystery to the mind of man, but not to the individual heart., Sounds confusing, well not really, we may not know how, why or when love is., but love is like a seed that is planted in one heart, nourished by another, then by another and so on, eventually the beauty of the rose of Peace will bloom. The problem is that man or his sociality tries to place constraints on love, Which causes a great deal of pain and suffering by a epidemic of loveless engagements. If the individual only knows what is loveless, then they will never know the path of Peace and will never escape ” a world gone mad”.
Love is about the heart spiritually and emotionally. The mind is but a tool, to express that which comes from the depths of the human heart. Be true love, embraced or not or be it love for all of man kind. For Love is a gift of the Cross, take the time to contemplate, meditate, and reflect upon the life of the one who is upon the cross. Then in one word sum that life up…..Love. Everything that is of love, is a gift of the Cross, be a lady with a sweet smile, parents, family, friends even Peace, anything and everything that touches and brings our hearts joy is a gift from the Cross.
Love, as I have said is the key. And it can begin with one heart. But for us to escape ” a world gone mad” and see the beauty of the rose of Peace in bloom. it will require the rest of us to embrace that love and share, pass it on to others, we must remember the Song of Peace is song to the melody of Love, not the tempo of hate.
My dear family and friends ( pg.2 ) The Seed
planted in our souls
when we enter this life
nourished through baptism
the see begins to grow
the hope of the cross.
with every gift of love
we give
with every minute of hope
we share
with each and every time
we forgive or are forgiven
the Seed grows even more
The Hope Of the Cross
when we take the time
to understand
when we take the time
to gain knowledge
when we take the time
to get to know others
then the Seed becomes a vine
with budding buds
The Hope of the Cross.
when we hear not
the sound of the gun
for when there’s
no drones overhead
or bombs exploding
when there is
no more terror
or cries of pains
then the budding buds
become Roses of Peace
for The Hope of the Cross
is PEACE.
The lady with the sweet smile: for it is in my heart
for it is in my heart
that I find love so true
it is in my heart’s dreams
in it’s desires and tears
that I find love’s sweet hope..
it is in your sweet smile
as bright as the summer sun
that awakens love so real
in my beating heart
and sends a faithful soul
soaring into the heavens.

for it is in my heart
that you will find
with every beat
love and caring
and that of one desire
that your heart smiles
forever and a day.
for if it be the only way
that my heart can be assured
that you be safe and happy
then my heart will hope
and my soul will pray
to the Father, to the Son
the Blessed Mother,
and through the Holy Spirit
that it be so.
